Lying awake at night and not getting a good night’s sleep can make your days miserable.
There can be many reasons you are not sleeping well. Some causes of insomnia are anxiety, exhaustion, grief, relationship issues, or worry. Not getting the rest and recuperation you need to function at your best day-to-day, and symptoms get worse when you have more than one sleepless night.
Clients tell me they want to get out of their head. Those thoughts running around in your head keep you from getting into the deep, restful, recuperative sleep that allows your body to heal and recover.
1. Turn off electronic devices at least 1 hour before bedtime. The Sleep Foundation reports that insomnia is caused by a state of hyperarousal. Electronic screens are a stimulant, so you don’t need that if you are trying to get to sleep.
2. No T.V.’s in the bedroom. The bedroom is a sanctuary and is for sex and sleeping. Putting your cell phone away from the bed is another way to keep the EMR at a distance.
3. See a practitioner for hypnosis therapy. Clients report that being guided through a relaxing hypnosis induction is a way to pamper themselves and get a good rest.
Hypnosis is a natural way to a relaxed focus on the results you want to obtain. Hypnotherapy is offered for sleep health and relaxation so that you can get the rest you need to help heal and rejuvenate yourself.
Clients tell me how much my hypnotherapy helps them get a good night’s sleep, again and again. Let’s talk about what you are going through, and what you need to calm, soothe, and heal.
